A Venue For Your Special Events
Whether for a wedding, a party, a concert, a film show, staging a play, holding a fete or an auction, a dance, or for workshops and classes for anything from yoga to upholstering to willow weaving to bicycle maintenance, Kings Cliffe Memorial Hall has a surprising amount to offer. So come and take a look.
The main hall on the upper ground floor has pedestrian access on Eagle Lane or by stairs from the lower floor entrance on Church Walk. The upper entrance on Eagle Lane is wheelchair accessible and the stairs from the lower ground floor entrance are also served by a stairlift. The lower Church Walk entrance also serves as the entrance for the Undercroft.
There is vehicle access to the Church Walk (lower ground floor) entrance but only limited parking.
The Memorial Hall also has direct access to Maltings Green, bordered by the picturesque Willow Brook. This is a public space and is sometimes used for outdoor activities linked to events in the Main hall and the Undercroft, with prior consent from the Parish Council.

Entrance Foyer
Located on Eagle Lane, wheelchair accessible, with toilets, including an accessible toilet and access to the servery for the main hall.
The Main Hall
Suitable for up to 150 people, has a servery with hatch into the hall and a separate furniture store.
The hall also has a stage with proscenium arch and velvet curtains, 2 sets of backdrop curtains, stage wings space, power outlets, and backstage room.
The Servery
With hatch to the main hall, has sinks, worktops, power outlets, water boiler and refrigerator. This can also be set up as a bar, if desired.
The Undercroft
The characterful lower floor Undercroft offers an adaptable uncluttered space divided into two by stone pillars and lit by natural and artificial light. There are two separate toilets, one fully accessible, plus a galley kitchen equipped with a sink area, small worktop, mini fridge, tea urn, crockery, cutlery and electric kettle. The Undercroft has fitted soft bench seating and stacking chairs. Folding tables are available upon request.
The Parlour
Located on the lower floor and suitable for small meetings, can accommodate up to 20 people. It has sinks and worktop and is occasionally used as a ‘staging post’ for food service to the main hall.

The Servery is equipped with cups, saucers and tea plates, as well as teapots, coffee pots and jugs. Some additional glassware, crockery and cutlery are available on request.
